I've said this a thousand fucking times, on many that says you could become immortal: THERE'S NO UPSIDE. I'd rather die instantly than be immortal. It may sound good. But think about it. It's absolutely terrible.

Both are downsides. The 50% death is an obvious downside but immortality is worse,u have to live for the rest of existance seeing friends and family die and even your children

As of any problem with immortality as an option, you'll slowly become crazy, severely depressed, and have anxiety problems, since you know, will, and have to accept the fact that all of the people that you know will die, you will live through it, and forget about it.
