Immortality is a curse. Think about how bored you would get. And when the Earth inevitably dies in some way or another, you are left stranded in space in constant pain, or in a star... in constant pain.

Invincibity is better. Yes there's a difference. If you're immortal you cant die. If your invincible you can't be beaten by people animals disease etc. So allthough you can still die if your invincible all diseases that come with age would be defeated so you'd live for a good 10,000 years.
