I don't know anything that cost $500,000 that I would ever want to buy. Also If I got 1k per week, it"d be 52k per year, which is 500k in almost 10 years (9 and 212 days). I would never even save that anyway, I would just buy things every week.

firstly, 500K is a lot. Secondly, buying is not inclusive of leasing or renting. So you could still lease a massive mansion.

Im okay with this, not many things are worth 500k, not to mention i dont want anythign worth 500k, and if truely necessary you can give a friend the money and tell them to buy it for you. You didnt buy it, your friend did, for you :D
