Read it the other way around, by pressinf this you put somone you love in death danger and then save it killing 1000 random peoples, it don't make sense.

If you honestly think yourself as horrible, you must have some ethics and acknowledge what you are saying is wrong, and are not proud of yourself. Which means that to a certain degree you are not horrible :)

I've lost people in my life already. I know how much it hurts. I wouldn't want anyone else to have to deal with the pain I endured, even if it meant I lost someone else.
