This contradicts itself. Since our lives are finite, we can't travel either way "as much as you want". If I could travel as far as I wanted, I could travel five hundred years, but since I cannot live that long, that would mean I cannot travel that far as I'd like. Learn English.

If you travel backwards you"re subtracting a negative from a negative. This extends your life, so all you"re doing is living at certain parts of your life at that age and time.

time to loophole: so lets say i travel back 25 years thats negative 25 years if you deduct a negative number from any number then it is basically adding so (current lifespan) - (-25) is just (current lifespan) + 25 so i get 25 years added on my life

Assuming that traveling backwards in time is the same as traveling negative time and forwards positive then you could only travel back so you gain more life and then when your done go forward subtracting less life than before if not slightly and then you gain life.

But thats a paradox! :3 for you see.... if you stopped yourself, then you wouldn't have gotten those powers which means that nothing would have stoped you from pushing the button.
