So, therefore, if you come across this button more than once, you must press it again, or you will be shot. If you never pressed it to begin with, then you won’t get shot if you refuse to press it a second time.

Downside is cancelled out by the button not being activated since I didn't press it so the downside can't be activated. Downside also doesn't apply to anyone who activates the button. I also don't particularly want that "upside"
