The problem with one"s like this where you get a power but there is a problem inherent to it, thus pressing the button has no unavoidable downside you can just live your life and have this cool power for emergencies.

just dont deactivate it or make a extra power that might keep your old power (like power to make power crystals that make last power able to use again :I)
