Here"s the thing. You don't have to use the power you could just live your life normally and use it if you need to eventually, What if when you use it there"s a cure for cancer by then?You don't have to use it. Just have it it"s like the cappy old TV you have from the 80s that"s never used

Like as in if I use it even once I WILL get cancer? In that case no. or as in it increases your odds everytime you use it and if you use it everyday it"s pretty much going to give you cancer kind of like smoking? I would probably say yes and just not use my power often
