This is a rather good question, though "could" means there's posisbly a 50% chance you could actually cure cancer, meaning either way, cure or no, you'll die of what you were trying to prevent.

it depends of the type of cancer you have, some types of cancer already have a cure.

If you cure all cancer, you yourself can not die from a previously incurable cancer. That is why I pressed the button. There isn't anything bad to come of it.

It just said 'You could be the first person to cure cancer' it didn't say 'all cancer' ... also incurable mean you can't cure it. It's not a loophole when you didn't read the choice clearly

Well if I cured 'cancer' I could cure my 'incurable' cancer because it doesn't specifically say that cancer I cured, so I cured all of it.

"Could be" only means it MIGHT happen. Whether or not that happens, I will still die of cancer. That"s the only sure thing in this.
