Kill the ender dragon and then the final credits happen and you have actually beaten the game regardless of if you have killed the wither, gotten a beacon etc.

You can do /effect @p resistance 10000 100, and you would never fell pain or die again. You can be hurt by poison but you can also do /effect @p regeneration 10000 100, and poison cant kill you anymore
