To be fair, people could logically live on Mars incredibly soon, it"s just we don't have the technology currently.

We all could move to mars in 499years

AustinRJ87 10 years ago
except when you consider how much smaller mars is than earth and we wouldn't all fit.

The loss of earth would cause massive change in the solar system and may even cause the downfall of mars. On top of that our space travel wouldn't develop fast enough to leave the system within 500 years. It sounds great but the risk is too high.

CampHalf-BloodForLife 9 years ago
Humanity will go instinct anyways! Why not in 500 years, it WILL happened sooner or later!

Earth explodes, pieces are caught by gravity of other pieces, the earth is rebuilt, we now have two planets (🤑)

Mister-E 9 years ago
Actually, a planet of any size and shape, ... a galaxy sized planet that is in the shape of a spiderweb across the galaxy, pffft... who needs space travel?

No downside for the people who live right now.

I'm pretty sure earth will not be livable in 500 years. I'm not hopeful for humanities survival. If we survive, hopefully we will learn our lesson and not fuck up an entire planet because everyone wanted nice things like fast cars, cheap energy, steak, and a lot of money.

In 500 years we should be traveling to other stars if technology keeps pace so no problem here.

naruto5634551 11 years ago
It's gonna happen sooner or later

Warmchne 10 years ago
Guys even if traveling there takes a lot of money it's probably going to be free to escape. Then again Mars will be the closest planet to the sun that didn't disenigrate. We'll be okay. But as all Christians know, Christ will come again before this happens.
