The only reason I pressed the button is because if I have the mental ability to read minds, I would also have the mental ability to shield out thoughts. Its not turning my ability off, I'm just "blocking" the thought waves. :)

The thing with abilities is that you can choose to use them. Like you can jump really high but you can jump lower if you want to... or set the mind reading range to 0 meters or less

It didn’t say that you read EVERYONE’s mind, it just says you can read minds, so you could just read the mind of one person at al time. I see no downside

but you still have the ability to chose whether to use it or not; just as you have the ability to run. you can chose to run or walk but you"re not "turning off" your ability to run, you"re just not using it :p hehe

There is not always a way to control it. Because it says you can never turn it off. PERIOD. Well, actually no period, but you get what I mean.

there will be a huge difference, because the talking will also be there, plus their thinking, it will b the biggest chaos in your head, you wouldn't even know anymore which are your own thoughts and which are not.....it will make you go crazy.
