Who cares? There's no true "opposites" with feelings. For example, in the case of love, some would say hate is its opposite. Others would say indifference. So I can make someone love me, then hate me, then not give a shit.

It says 'irreversible', as in the feelings can't go back to how they were before. But it doesn't say anything about the feelings naturally progressing. Just make everyone like you; love isn't a reversal, it's a continuation, so deeper relationships could be formed from there.
