If you don't click, I don't think anything happens, as the "Existance" of certain situation will only "exist" if you press the button.

Lets say, for some reason, the creator of the button says that if you don't press the button there will be a consequence, but that is included IF you press the button, so I'm pretty sure nothing will happen... As the situation (as explained in my other comment) will only happen if you pressed. TL;DR
