Honestly my only concern would be, by giving spiders such an effective way of hunting prey (one that you can't see coming or avoid), you could potentially disrupt the ecosystem and cause the extinction of many species.

The spiders wouldn't really care about you, for one, for two, they wouldn't know where you are going, so they technically CAN'T teleport to you, unless by chance.
