If it is certain that Half-Life 3 will never be created before I press the button. And, when I do, Gabe Newell and all the developer of the games have their input. I would do it. I'd like to see the game, even if it sucks.

I haven't played any of the half life series, nor do I plan to. I'd imagine it would be better to wait 30 more years than have EA make it, though. EA is evil.
