Doesn't say you die (though it is heavily implied in the word sacrifice) and if that were the case, keeping you alive would be much better so you could continue to produce more of the cure

Just donate ur blood and get money from it when it's sold. It'll be rare so ull be rich too! Just sell a very little amount. There's no certain limit.
