Well, given I'm a believer in determinism, there's nothing to give up. I mean, yeah, there's logic to pretending I have it... But when it comes to questions like this, I have to remember that it's (at least for me) just a comforting self-delusion.

.. i don't believe in free will, why would a specific arrangement of atoms be able to disobey the laws of physics? everything is either deterministic or random and we have no control over it.
