Make new steam account > push button > you have to spend 10 bucks to be able to have friends > free games and no friends (sounds wrong but it"s ok)

Sure why not. I'll just put my chat/status on "Appear offline" and no-one will bother me. Turn of the Steam overlay in-game. All good.
