To kill one animal for a Lamborghini,manison and a 5 ton block of solid gold (assuming this is hypothetical I can have anything) really only downside is you have to dig a 3 foot hole

I would press it...one of the items would be a device to bring the cat/dog back to life with no memory of the experience, one of them would erase my memory of the event, and the last one would give me whatever I want. :P

So, it doesn't say it has to be a currently real item. So if you do the genie workaround and get a book that can do anything in the way you want you could bring the animal back and make it forget the pain.
