Great idea, what could go wrong? Just write your memories down sometime before you need to regenerate. It says lose all of your memories, you won't know your name or how to read.

This is how regeneration should work. If I lose all my memories including talking and stuff I"d turn myself into a toddler and see how adoption works out.
