It never specifies which thumb; thus, there"s only a 25% chance of it being the thumb of your dominant hand. Overall, still good odds for me.

it would cost a lot more than that, and the replacement thumb would never be as good. matter of fact... they cant really replace thumbs at all

There is a 50 percent chance. so you could get 20,000k for free. Besides, you don't need two thumbs. just depends on if you can pick which thumb you lose if you do end up losing a thumb
