Those can have two effects, the first is that we are just wiped out by predators in the past, the other is that we already are in the current era without weapon and regress to prior hunter stage, both cases are a no-no.

Everyone doesnt know what the upside is. It would be world peace without weapons less violent wars. But the downside is what makes it not worth it

Just because there are no weapons doesn't mean world peace it just means when murder happens it happens slower because they just beat you to death so even your upside isn't there
