Depends how powerful the telekinesis is, if it is just moving small objects, no, but if I have pretty much limitless power with telekinesis, I would press it. I can use the telekinesis on myself, without breaking a sweat.

you can just use your telekinesis to move your body, so there would be no downside after you get used to your new method of movement.

You can move the rest of your body as you like with telekinesis. It's just going to take awhile to get it to be instinctive.
