I still play games quite a lot, so that wouldn't be much of an issue. Plus, this doesn't take into account the possibility of effortlessly MAKING and MODDING games.

This is actually very good for people who play video games a lot. It forces you to get a hobby, presumably using the free time you got from halving your playtime, yet still being able to basically retain all your skills/ be even better with less effort.
