Crap! That means you will have to watch the inevitable heat death of the universe! That takes TRILLIONS of years! And then what? How long does this last? An eternity of infinite boredom! How can anyone in their right mind push this button?

Figure out how to reverse entropy in the few trillion years you have. Turn all of Andromeda into one giant Matrioshka brain network to calculate it for you. Create an empire of robots specifically for this purpose. If you still fail, well shucks it seems like the devil behind the button won.

No downside. If you are literally invulnerable then you would also be invunerable in terms of emotional damage removing the downside of emotional trauma caused by seeing all of your loved ones die.

Being immortal would suck. You'd never know what the afterlife is like, all your friends and family would die, and you get stuck with all the limits of the physical world forever. No thanks.

The downside is, being immortal, you would have to see all of your freinds and family die, not just them, but everyone you meet. you would have to watch the whole world suffer from famine and drought, death and genocide, and the world ending, it's inevitable.

There is no downside you the planet will explode then youll float until you run into another planet possibly with life on it chill out there for a bit that planet with explode so on so forth until reality explodes then you float into the next one and start again
