Fast forward to 2020, Half life:Alyx is out. Half life 3. Not only have I already watched someone play it (xqc), I don't have to. I can buy it. Perks of patience and being in the future. Checkmate.

Pfft. I did that with a LOT of games, even though I regret it sometimes. A least, I wouldn't lose LOTS of hours at a complicated part such as a puzzle or item-finding part.
