if the flying is timed only by the time of how long you were flying then there is technically no downside cause you gonna use it just for transportation

Just don't fly too high or for too long. Also if there"s no limit on how fast you can fly, you could get anywhere on earth in 2 hours easily. Be like "Honey, I'm off to a business meeting in Tokyo, I'll bring sushi home for dinner."
