That was my first thought too. And loophole- dragons can use polymorph, so they can transform into pretty much anything WITHOUT excruciating pain.

Isn't that what happens anyways? I mean look at werewolves. They only scream because it hurts when they transform. Sidss they get used to it. I would not mind having this power. Painful? Yes. But I get to be a shapeshifter :D sides ill get used to it!
