Piracy actually increases sales. Most people pirate games to see if they're any good, and if they're interested and the game is good, most of them buy the game.

I might be weird but some games are meant to be played a certain way, like final fantasy being a console game and pokemon being nintendo. Also, nintendo would never release pokemon on a other system so this would kill the series.

hi i’m from the future uhhhh this ended up true. pirating is pretty damn hard (still possible) but mostly everything (cept mainline nintendo games LOL) are on pc now.
