If your baby dies in childbirth, it will only take nine months off you to bring it back to life. I think I would be willing to do that for my kids. Then when I am old I will bring someone older back to life as a last gift to this world.

I thought it meant their lifetime as in the rest of it, so if that 9 month old lives until they"re 90, you bring them back and lose 90 years off your life

You gain the power, but you don't have to use it. You could just save it if your really needed it, so theres no downside to taking it.
