Here is the thing. Most stuff is free when you have made it as a big name in a big sport. (Cars, houses etc.) So it doesn't matter and 25k ain't awful

If you play a sports on a professional level it will take up a significant amount of time. I think a reasonable comparison would be to have two jobs.

There are a wide range of sports, I have multiple favourites as I am not into a lot of sports. (If that makes sense) A job can be hard to find, you get payed nonetheless, you don't have to do too much for your job. And find another occupation as said.
