Make an unbreakable shield of the purest plot armour, and keep your utopia within the bubble. Possibly summon a video game protagonist to kill whatever wrathful God is causing the downside, just in case!

Well seeing as the universe already alters itself whenever it wants I don't see a big deal. I wouldn't create anything insanely crazy either.
