Well technically speaking, on an atomic scale, you can't touch anything anyways. Even if that loophole didn't apply, you could just wear a pair of gloves or a suit.

You don't actually touch anything since atoms never touch, think of them like magnets of the same electromagnetic charge and same alignment, the electrons push each other away so atoms never actually touch, also 98% of any atom is actually nothing
