No Nobel prize for archaeology or history, however I know several libraries that would pay you to interpret ancient documents. namely cuniform tablets. I'd take it just to have an excuse to never talk, I could be like hawking.

No downside. Right now, most of you probably just speak one language. At least you can understand the other people but still not be able to talk. You couldnt talk now so at least understand them
