What's wrong with being a deaf/mute? I'm still alive and able to enjoy life and write my novels, so where's the downside? Seriously, what's with treating being deaf/mute like it's a bad thing? Such narrow-mindedness and bias!

I don't think that the amount of time you are deaf is an option, even in the best scenarios. A cochlear would be your best bet.

Beethoven almost lived the same life he made great songs and he never heard them cause he was deaf, no problem you don't have to see yourself successful, You just need to make other people see you successful
