The button must be pushed, if they were to make it so the button wasn't pressed then time travel wouldn't have been invented so they couldn't have gone back in time to stop me from pushing the button

But that would be a paradox, because if I press the button but someone goes back in time to stop the button from getting pressed, then how did they go back in time? This would only affect an alternate universe that I'm not in. Outsmarted!!!
