Obviously antigray, which is simply gray pigment made out of the antimatter equivalent. It looks exactly identical to gray, but if any matter touches it, including air, it explodes.

Explanation/Example: The alternative pet is always gonna be intervening with your life. You give your pet fire powers, alternate pet has ice powers. Your pet can fly, alternate pet can swim. Your pet is nice/good. Alternate pet is mean/evil. etc.

It said anyone, not anything. Just get a pet who can build robots to kill him, the opposite wouldn't be able to protect itself as it has everything my wonderful and perfect pet has. Even better, if it is the opposite of my pet, it will be already dead, as my pet is alive

Make your "pet" a dragon, still in it's egg, with you being its rider ( Inheritance cycle books ) Even if the other egg hatches, its own rider will help to balance it's worse traits. [Honestly, I don't care if my reason makes sense, or if the question is weird, Any excuse to get a dragon!]
