Because you can sing songs in languages you don't understand and if you are like me, you could also already have stage fear and nothing really changes

The exception/downside said stage FEAR. Therefore, you have a fear of stages (Raised platforms), and can sing on a flat surface. (I take things too literally, don't I?)

It doesn't say I have to perform thoe songs, and I already have stage fright. I'll be singing Credens Justitiam (which I already know the lyrics to) until my voice breaks.

I could sing again, so vocal paresis would no longer be an issue. In any language, no matter how complex. And any song, no matter how difficult. And no downside would be added that I don't already have, anyway.

Then don't sing on stage or in front of anyone. Also, it didn't say permanent stage fear, so you could just get used to it.
