WWII was a necessary evil to eliminate the warmongering and rampant nationalism in Europe. It has provided an exemplary for the entire world. If it wouldn't have happened, the worst-case scenario would've been a communist uprising in Europe (as facism was ...[Show full comment]

Worthless. Time travel for things like this is absolutely unpredictable. If someone were to ever be able to travel through time, then they better bloody just stick to observation and blending into whatever time they're in. Why waste something like time tra...[Show full comment]

Exactly my thinking. Look, I'm not going government deny that WW2 was horrible, lots of people did die, but what would happen if it never happened in the first place? This future could be MUCH worse than it currently is. And honestly, the world isn't all t...[Show full comment]

But won’t this create a paradox where you never went back in the first place because you were never born so then you’ll be alive but then you’ll go back so you won’t be alive.....

Sorry, fixed point in time can't change that. It would rip apart the fabric of time.

But thats just a theory, A TIME THEORY!! Thanks for reading
paradox
you prevent world war 2 which would prevent this question from being made so you never hit the button causing you to have never gone back in time, and you would be to dead to stop the paradox in it"s tracks like you could in the grandfather paradox

There US a paradox of impossibility. Because you stopped the War, you were never born. But if you were never born, you wouldnt have timetraveled to stop the war, thus the war happens. Its really just wasting your life for nothing

Impossible. If you were never born then you'd never go back to stop WWII.
if WWII hadn't happened then there's a good chance the world would have jumped straight into a capitalism vs communism war. which likely would have been far more costly. because WWII happened we ended up in a cold war instead.
I would stop it bc the events today aren’t worth it

Without WWII the US would never have overcome the great depression and Hitler would"ve stayed in power, it"s unfortunate that people had to die but it was for the greater good.

The only problem is sure, I could stop ww 2 then, but who"s to say that it might not happen again somewhere down the road. And quite possibly this time it may a far greater number of casualties, and as a result we may lose.
