I'll go around uninhabited planets so as the only living being on them i can set a christmas day for each day of the earth. After that i can go back and forth any day i want.

It says you can "return" to earth every christmas so if I won't leave I can be on earth as long as I want. So technically the downside exists only when you use the power and even then it lasts only until christmas. I think the decision is clear.

no because if you know every location then dont you know where the most advanced society is hence you can study with them to learn how to get to other universes making them "the universe" and then just do that over again until you find a universe with superpowers

There’s many definitions of immortality people how right this questions need to be more specific with type of immortality they are referring to. In the end nobody will want to flute in sub atomic space forever. That’s way I never press a button that not specific about immortality.
